About FireInspected
FireInspected was born from a simple observation: fire protection contractors deserve better tools.
I spent years working alongside fire protection contractors — the companies that inspect, maintain, and tag fire extinguishers in apartment buildings, offices, schools, and hospitals across the country. Every day, I watched technicians do the same thing: walk into a building with a clipboard and a stack of paper tags, inspect extinguishers one by one, and scribble results on carbon copies.
The problems were everywhere. Paper tags fall off or get damaged. Handwritten notes are illegible six months later when the fire marshal asks for records. Spreadsheets don't remind you when an inspection is due. And when something goes wrong — when a fire happens and an extinguisher wasn't inspected — the liability falls on the contractor.
I looked at the software available. InspectPoint. Uptick. InspectNTrack. SafetyCulture. They were either too expensive ($500+/month with annual contracts), too complex (enterprise platforms built for 50+ technicians), or too generic (checklist apps that aren't fire-specific at all).
No one built software for the 1-5 person fire extinguisher service company.
So I built FireInspected.
What FireInspected believes
- Software should be affordable. $49/month, not $500. No annual contracts. No minimum seat requirements.
- You should be able to sign up and start working in 5 minutes. No "schedule a demo." No "contact sales." Pre-built NFPA 10 forms ready to go.
- It should work on any device. iOS and Android. Online and offline. In basements, parking garages, and buildings with no signal.
- Your data is yours. Export anytime. No vendor lock-in. We earn your business every month.
- Fire protection is serious work. The software should be professional, not flashy. Technicians trust tools that work, not tools that look pretty in a demo.
Built in the USA
FireInspected is built and operated in the United States. Your inspection data stays on US-based infrastructure with 256-bit encryption at rest and in transit. We comply with NFPA standards because we understand the compliance requirements firsthand.
