About FireInspected

FireInspected was born from a simple observation: fire protection contractors deserve better tools.

FireInspected is being built around conversations with fire protection contractors - the companies that inspect, maintain, and tag fire extinguishers in apartment buildings, offices, schools, and hospitals. The recurring pattern is familiar: technicians walk into a building with a clipboard and paper tags, inspect extinguishers one by one, and later reconcile handwritten records.

Paper tags fall off or get damaged. Handwritten notes are difficult to review months later. Spreadsheets make service history and follow-up work easy to miss. FireInspected is intended to make the record easier to capture, find, and share; it does not decide who is responsible for a loss or whether a job satisfies a requirement.

I looked at the software available. InspectPoint. Uptick. InspectNTrack. SafetyCulture. They were either too expensive ($500+/month with annual contracts), too complex (enterprise platforms built for 50+ technicians), or too generic (checklist apps that aren't fire-specific at all).

FireInspected starts with the 1–5 person fire-extinguisher service company.

So I built FireInspected.

What FireInspected believes

• Software should be affordable. Clear technician-based tiers, monthly or annual billing, and no forced enterprise rollout.
• You should be able to start without a sales call. FireInspected offers a card-required 7-day trial and self-serve onboarding for Starter, Pro, and Growth.
• It should work where technicians work. The current workflow uses a responsive browser, local drafts, and a retry path when signal returns.
• Your data should remain portable. Export and deletion paths are being implemented and documented; export availability depends on record type.
• Fire protection is serious work. The software should be professional, not flashy. Technicians trust tools that work, not tools that look pretty in a demo.

Built for service teams

FireInspected is in early access on managed cloud infrastructure with separate public-site and application deployments. The product uses versioned wording to help organize service records; it does not claim certification, legal advice, or automatic compliance with NFPA, OSHA, state, local, insurer, or AHJ requirements.
